Workers' Rights Advocacy Service
This is a free advocacy service for low-income workers that offers:
- Accurate and current information on employment rights and legislation
- Help with a wide range of employment issues, including dismissals and redundancies
- Support or representation in negotiations with employers
- Support or representation throughout the mediation process
- Written resources (e.g. legislation, fact sheets about your rights)
- Information about unions
Available at the Wellington People's Centre
When coming to see an advocate, you will need to bring all important documentation such as your employment agreement, letters from your employer, pay-slips and anything else you may think will be relevant.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays: 5:30pm - 7pm
