Donating to the Wellington People's Centre

Donations are a vital part of ensuring the Wellington People’s Centre continues its work in supporting people on benefits and low incomes. The generosity of the community helps us to continue to offer low cost health and free advocacy services.

Every dollar does make a difference and donations of $5 or more are receipted, and may be eligible for tax deduction as The Wellington People's Centre operates as an Incorporated Society with Charitable Status.

There are many ways you can donate to Wellington People’s Centre and we greatly appreciate all donations made.

• If you would like to come and visit us to make a donation with cash, EFTPOS, or cheque we would love to meet you and of course we will receipt your donation.
• You can donate by cheque. Please make the cheque out to Wellington People’s Centre and post to PO Box 9491, Marion Square, Wellington 6141, New Zealand. Receipts will be issued on request only.
• If you would like to support us on a regular basis you can donate by automatic payment. To print out an A/P form please select your bank Westpac ASB BNZ National Bank of NZ Kiwi Bank to download (as .pdf) or contact us and we can post one to you.
• Or you can make a Direct Credit to the Wellington People's Centre's account 030558 0236274 000 held at Westpac. Please make sure you put your name in the particulars and also include "donation" in the reference. Once you have setup your donation email us with your name, address, donation amount and the date of the transfer and we will happily send you a tax receipt once the donation amount has been matched.
