Our dental service provides high-quality basic dental care.
You can access the dental service at the Wellington Peoples Centre as
- a member of the
Centre*, or
- a student at Massey University, or
- an enrolled patient with a medical practice that is part of SECPHO. These
are: Evolve, Newtown Union Health Service, Te Aro and Pacific Health Services
- a non-member, although the cost of treatment is 20% more expensive.
Please contact the Centre reception if you would like to make an appointment
to see the dentist.
If you become a member of the Centre you will receive treatment at our
members rates*.
All patients seeking routine care will require a check-up with the dentist
to assess what treatment is needed. You will need this even if you have seen
another dentist. If you have tooth-ache you may have an appointment to relieve
the pain but no full check up will be done at this visit.
Our dental service provides a wide range of basic dental services including
fillings, gum treatment, root fillings, crowns and dentures. There are some
treatments, mainly cosmetic or specialist services, which we cannot
provide here. If you require these treatments we will discuss referral with
you.
*People who have been fully paid up members of the
Peoples Centre for the one year prior to the date of treatment (or pay a
one year membership in advance) will qualify for an extra 10-15% discount on
treatment. Check our pricing
