While all us little Kiwis are doing it tough in the recession our banks are raking it in - more profitable than years - (all good if you're a CEO of one of these banks and are get around $3m p/a, better still for the CEO of Westpac who's' getting near double that). So on Monday(6/12/10), the Wellington Unemployed Workers Union organised a protest to highlight the public's displeasure that we all feel about this and fiscal policy that holds needs not less than arround 5% unemployment to be "good" for the economy. .
