Volunteering at the Wellington People's Centre

Donate your time by becoming a volunteer – we are always looking for volunteers to support the work of the Wellington People’s Centre. When the Centre began in 1992 it was fully staffed by volunteers. We are now fortunate that we have a combination of paid staff and volunteers.

Whether it’s helping keep our gardens tidy or donating your professional services we would be thrilled to hear from you.

If you are interested in advocacy or governance the following might be of interest to you:

  • Benefit Rights Advocacy - full training provided
  • Workers’ Rights Advocacy – full training provided
  • Management Committee Members

Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering
