Our dental service provides high-quality, low-cost and ethical dental care.
Anyone can access the dental service at the Wellington Peoples Centre.
Please contact
the Wellington People's Centre reception(Ph. 04 3858596) if you would like to make an appointment
to see the dentist.
If you have been a member of the Centre for 12 months you will receive
treatment at our members rates*.
All patients seeking routine care will require a check-up with the dentist
to assess what treatment is needed. A treatment plan with itemised charges will
be given. If you are eligible, you will be given a W&I quote or a StudyLink
quote to take for funding approval. You will need a check up even if you have seen
another dentist. If you have tooth-ache you may have an appointment to relieve
the pain and a full check up will be done at a later visit.
Our dentists provide a wide range of dental services including
fillings, gum treatment, root fillings, crowns and dentures. Some
treatments, mainly cosmetic or specialist services, can be referred to a specialist after
discussion with you.
*People who have been fully paid up members of the
Peoples Centre for the one year prior to the date of treatment (or pay a
one year membership in advance) will qualify for up to a 20% discount on
treatment.
Prices
Our prices are very competitive and a full treatment plan with
price quotes will be given after your examination.
